Favorite Cookie: Do-Si-Dos

Why it is your favorite: “I am a peanut butter lover. Breakfast for me is an English muffin or bagel with peanut butter and jelly. So it comes as no surprise that my favorite Girl Scout cookie is the Do-Si-Dos.

Every year here at City Hall, dozens of employees bring order forms to work to sell cookies for their daughters and granddaughters who are Scouts. Being a fair-minded boss, I turn no one away, which means I bring home many boxes of Do-Si-Dos. I also bring home a few boxes of Thin Mints for the rest of the family so that they will stay away from the Do-Si-Dos and leave them all for me.

I wish the Girl Scouts of Connecticut all the best with their 2008 cookie sale. Keep those Do-Si-Dos coming!”
